Donations

The most direct way of supporting us is by making a donation. We carefully monitor all of our operations to make sure that the highest proportion possible of all donations go straight to our projects and their beneficiaries. We do not waste your money on merchandising, and we keep our administration expenses as low as possible.

There are a variety of ways of making donations:

  • by joining the Patrons Scheme at a choice of levels
  • by sending a cheque to us
  • by on-line donation from your debit or credit card
  • by recurring payments arranged directly with your bank (please contact us for assistance with arranging this)
  • by funding an individual athlete, team or event
  • by leaving a legacy to Scottish Sports Aid in your will

To make a donation by cheque, please send a cheque to us, made payable to 'SportsAid Scotland'.

To donate on-line using a debit or credit card, please click on the yellow 'Donate' button below, which will give you access to our dedicated on-line donation facility, and follow the instructions given.

SportsAid’s patron, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge is helping to shine a light on the achievements and potential of young athletes throughout the UK – inspiring a generation who one day hope to represent the nation at the Olympic or Paralympic Games. SportsAid alumnus Sir Chris Hoy welcomed the patronage by saying, “SportsAid played an important role when I was starting out so I know what a huge boost this will be to the young sportsmen and women the charity helps today. As patron Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will give them the profile they deserve.”
